Pain in Motion goes New Zealand: a warm welcome to Jacqui Clark!

Pain in Motion is proud to announce a new member: Jacqui Clark from New Zealand has joined our group!

Jacqui Clark qualified as a Chartered Physiotherapist in 1989 in London, and is currently undertaking research for her PhD through Manchester Metropolitan University UK (together with Pain in Motion).
Since the early 1990’s she has specialised in movement dysfunction, motor control and the brain, and how this relates to pain and disability. Jacqui has worked closely with one of the UK's top key-hole spinal surgeons whilst owning and operating a large multidisciplinary rehabilitation centre. Since 1997 Jacqui has been teaching post graduate physiotherapy courses and conferences internationally. She was rated the number one international accredited tutor for Kinetic Control from 1999 to 2006. Jacqui continues to teach worldwide, and is guest senior lecturer on the Physiotherapy Masters Programme at Manchester Metropolitan University.

Jacqui now shares her time between the UK and New Zealand. Her clinical caseload includes those with recurrent sports injuries and various chronic pain disorders. She also works with children, adolescents and adults with sensorimotor disorders, and anxiety associated with mild learning difficulties or head injuries.
We’re happy to have you on board Jacqui!
